European ‘Houses’ Of Culture: Call For Ideas Open Until 23 June

‍The time for creative thinking has come: EUNIC Global has launched the Call for Ideas within the European ‘Houses’ of Culture. We are inviting our network to submit their innovative ideas for a cultural relations project to be implemented in 2020.

‍What are we looking for?

The project ideas should be innovative in approach, partnership and activities and should be based on the contemporary understanding of cultural relations: people-to-people approach, co-creation and beyond showcasing of cultural diversity. Proposals may result from adapting already existing collaboration models or they may be completely new ideas. And do note that we are not talking about actual houses: we are looking to test cultural collaboration in a broader sense, that create spaces, whether physical or digital, permanent or temporary, for cultural exchange. In other words: new ideas to bring cultural collaboration to a new level.

Criteria are limited: the project needs to take place outside of the EU and three EUNIC members need to work together with the local EU Delegation and at least one important local partners. Deadline for submission: 23 June. Soon after that date, 10 project teams will be selected to further develop their idea into a concrete project plan, out of which 5 projects will be selected to be implemented. In total you can be awarded up to EUR 60,000 for your project, including the preparation phase.
